The Advisor Report process consists of reviewing teacher remarks, writing a short introduction and conclusion, and then copying teacher remarks into the report.

1.  Log-in to Faculty Portal and click on the "View Remarks" button.  I suggest that you right click this button and open it in a new window.

2.  Read through the remarks to help identify themes and patterns to address in your own writing.

3.  Open your advisory class.  It will be named in the same pattern as the image below.

4.  Locate the Grades and Comments section of this class using the same method as when writing remarks.

Option 1:  Click "More" and then choose "Report Cards."

Option 2:  Click on the class and then choose the "Grades and Comments" tab.

5.  Compose your introduction and conclusion in the Comments area.

Note that "saves" are indicated by a checkmark in the bottom right of the window and by a light green flashing of the formatting bar.

6.  If you opened teacher remarks in a new window, arrange that window for easy copying and pasting of the remarks into your letter.

If not, then click back on the Faculty Portal tab in your browser and choose the "View Remarks" button again.

7.  Highlight and copy the teacher remarks, one at a time.

8.  Paste each remark into the comment section for your advisee, between the introduction and conclusion.

Veracross will save this as it records changes with the light green flash and checkmark.
