Prerequisite: You may need to download and install the printer drivers for MAC from the following websites if you have not connected to one of these printer brands before.

  1. Click on the Apple icon in the upper left of your screen and click System Settings (or Preferences depending on your operating system)
  2. Click Printers and Scanners and click either the "+" or Add Printer, Scanner, Fax.
  3. Click the globe symbol to add by IP Address.
  4. In the Address box put in the printers IP Address. Common IP addresses can be found here... Email Helpdesk for a printer's IP that is not in this list.

  5. Protocol should be set to "HP Jetdirect" for connecting to all printers. If that doesn't work for connecting to Kyocera printers/copiers select "IPP" instead. 

  6. Queue can be left blank and under the Name option feel free to give the printer a name for your reference.

  7. Click Add and that's it!
