These instructions should help you to use the Game Bar on your Windows PC to record a voiceover.


  1. Open your video and maximize it to full screen.
  2. Click the Windows key + G on your keyboard to open the Game Bar.
  3. On the Game Bar, make sure that the microphone is enabled.  The icon should look like this:
  4. Click record, the circle next to the microphone button.
  5. Start your video and begin your voiceover.
  6. Click the square, stop icon when you are finished.


To locate your video, open the Game Bar again and click "Show all captures."

You can then preview the video or "Open File Location" to drag into Photos for editing.
